Seinfeld is mainly set in New York City, especially the Upper West Side neighborhood of Manhattan. The show incorporates many real New York landmarks such as Yankee Stadium and the New York City Public Library, as well as lesser known places.

Some episodes occur outside New York City at places such as upstate New York, Los Angeles, and Florida.
