Gennice Graham is Jerry Seinfeld’s girlfriend in “The Understudy”. She is the title character; Gennice is the understudy to Bette Midler.
She is easily emotional; she cried frantically after dropping a hot dog and while watching the film Beaches. Oddly, when she learned of the death of her grandmother, Gennice was unfazed.

- Gennice's character and storyline is a direct reference and parody of Tonya Harding, and specifically her involvement in the controversy with Nancy Kerrigan during the 1994 Winter Olympics.
